Saudi Arabia International Program Final Symposium a Success

Aug. 30, 2012 – The Final Symposium for the Saudi Arabia International Program was a big success, with many faculty and staff in attendance.  The students presented their projects through a combination of poster, computer, and physical demonstration and were able to effectively share their results in English.  The event was attended by the program directors, Professor Ahmed Eltawil and Professor Fadi Kurdahi, as well as the Dean of the Henry Samueli School of Engineering, Gregory Washington.  The event was hosted in the Engineering Hall Colloquia Room, the very same room the students had their first orientation.  After the students presented their projects, a speech was made by both the program director, Ahmed Eltawil, and the Dean, Gregory Washington, congradulating them on a job well done.  Afterwards, the students were given their certificates of completion.  UCI is proud of them and thankful to Salman bin Abdullah University for being its partner on the inaugural SAIP cirriculum.
